Shankill Physiotherapy Clinic was established in 2004 by Angela O'Sullivan M.I.S.C.P., M.S.O.M.

ANGELA O'SULLIVAN
Chartered Physiotherapist. M.Sc (Sports Physio), M.I.S.C.P., M.S.O.M.

Angela graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 1997. Initially she worked in the hospital setting: St. Columcille's, Loughlinstown; St. Michael's, Dun Laoghaire; Mercy Hospital, Cork; Tralee General, Kerry and Beaumont Hospital, Dublin gaining experience in the fields of respiratory, orthopaedic and neurology. She started to specialise in the treatment of patients with musculoskeletal injuries and passed the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine exams in 2000. Angela is an active member of the Irish Society of Orthopaedic Medicine (I.S.O.M).

Angela then worked in a private practice, The Court Clinic in Dublin where she furthered her experience of working with patients with lower limb injury and the prescription of orthotic devices. During this time she gained a Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy from University College Dublin. Angela started Shankill Physiotherapy Clinic in 2004 where she works with people with back and neck injuries and sports injuries.

Angela is on the panel of physiotherapists who travel with Athletics Ireland and has travelled extensively with Athletics Ireland over the last few years. She also works with Cuala GAA teams and Rathmichael Shankill F.C. teams. Her special interests include athletics, golf, GAA, rugby, tennis and hockey.

Angela enjoys a close working relationship with GPs and consultants in the area and liases with them as needed.
